I really like it. Another spelling is Brodie which is different. Maybe Brody Jack? Brody James? Just popped into my head.

LOve this name...it is actually one of our top choices if we have a boy. And yes, it does remind me of HOmeland, but we still love it!

I've never seen Homeland -- we (obvious to anyone who knows me) like it because it's the Chief's name from Jaws.
There was also a character on Brothers and Sisters named Brody.
Middle names I like with it -- I try to not even consider J names because I don't want the kid having the initials 'BJ' if possible.

I wouldn't choose it for me - I cannot stand when men call each other Bro - and I'd be afraid that he'd wind up with that nickname

I guess it depends on the last name, and how it sounds when its all together. I'm more of a fan of traditional names, so I wouldn't choose it. Howver, if one of my friends did, I would be really excited. Great name, just not for me.

It's fine. Don't love or hate Brody. I think of a laid back surfer when I think of that name-hehe. I would like it better as a middle name. I don't like Brady at all though.

I think it's an adorable name. I almost love it except for the dog reference. I almost named my dog Brody but I still like it for a human boy too! I think it suits a grown man just fine.
