Re: keratin and chlorine....
it DEFINITELY shortened the life of the kertain treatment when I had it done... same with the beach and saltwater. Kind of a cruel irony considering the summer is exactly when I wanted the treatment all the time! If you are good about rinsing your hair right away, it can help, but overall it will diminish the effectiveness of the keratin.

Re: keratin and chlorine....
it will take it right out. if you must submerge your hair in water....put a leave in conditioner in your hair first .

A swim cap won't keep your hair dry.
A keratin treatment may not be right for you. I was told by my stylist that if I went into the chlorine, I should wash it out immediately so it wouldn't affect my keratin treatment.
