crampy at 37 weeks

is this normal? i havent been crampy this whole pregnancy but in the past week or so ive been more and more crampy.

I would say drink more water and try to rest as much as possible. Your body is probably just getting ready for when you are going to deliver. If they are constant then I would start timing them. My doctor told me if I get 4-6 per hour then to call the doctor or go to L&D.

I didn't experience it myself so I don't know for sure but I'd call the doc if it's something you're concerned about.

It could be contractions? I apparently had been having contractions for weeks leading up to my due date but had no clue --- assumed the baby was kicking. It wasn't until I was in the hospital being induced and they had me hooked up to the monitors that I learned I was actually having contractions when I was feeling that.

It's probably your body preparing for delivery.

It could be BH, but when I started to get regular cramping (like when I have my period) it was the start of labor!! It went on for over a day before it started to feel more intense like contractions.

Either way make sure you're drinking lots of water in case you're dehydrated.

Welcome to my life. I've had then pretty much the whole pregnancy and now at almost 39w they are painful. Dr says 100% normal and body is preparing. Dumb body.
