Dehydrated
I have mentioned in other posts how drinking anything these days is a problem because nothing tastes right, makes me feel sicker, etc... especially water. So far the only thing that is tolerable is Coke (same with my last pregnancy) and even then, fountain soda is better than canned or bottled... And because it's Coke I really try not to drink it that much at all. With DS' pregnancy, Dr. said it was OK to have but try to limit to 1 per day at most. I'm trying to stick to that.
I know I'm dehydrated because I'm not getting anything close to enough water in me. I don't feel faint, no headaches or anything but definitely low energy.
I know a bunch of you had mentioned having aversions to water too so I'm curious how you managed to work it in. Obviously I know it's important to just try to get it in. So far, when I feel up to it, I try to drink as much as I can (even though I feel sick after). I've been mixing it in juice. Eating more fruit.
Any other ideas that worked for you? I keep telling myself I'll go hardcore with the water once I'm out of the first trimester woods. Not helping right now though!

Dehydrated
I had an aversion to water and it S*CKED!!! I would be SO thirsty but I couldn't drink. I would try to mix it with things, which helped but not always. I found that ice helped A LOT! I would pack the glass with ice and make sure the drink was REALLY cold. Also, the nutritionist said to buy those Capri Sun or juice boxes and put them in the freezer. Then eat them while frozen and that will help with the liquids you should be getting. Those two thing where life savers to me and when I started doing them I stopped going to the hospital for dehydration.

How about seltzer? Decaf iced tea (herbal tea is good- I liked red zinger when I was pregnant)? Coconut water? Vitamin Water? Or eating foods that have a lot of liquid? Cucumbers, apples, melon, etc? GL and hope you feel better!

I only like Fiji water (since pregnancy). It just taste different than Poland spring. It kind of have a hint of a light salt taste. Weird I know. Besides water I enjoy pink lemonade, V8 splash but only the fruit medley one, grape juice and orange juice(only Tropicana in the individual bottle with no pulp).

Re: Dehydrated
Did you try adding fresh fruit slices to a pitcher of water to give it some flavor? Or even the flavored bottled water? I try to drink water but lately am having a hard time. That being said I drink gatorade, orange juice, ginger ale, decaf tea (once a day at most), and water... but try to make sure I'm as close to where I should be by the end of the day... I have fruit juice in the fridge as well, though I couldn't touch grape juice my first trimester and haven't touched it since- I have mega heartburn all the time as it is... but fruit punch, orange drink, decaf iced tea maybe?

Re: Dehydrated
At 19w I'm slowly becoming ok drinking water.
I've been mixing it with juices. At first cranberry, then grape, and now Arizona and mystic fruit punch.
If you like fountain soda then I'd try seltzer. All fountain water is is seltzer mixed with syrup.
If non of those work try pedi pops (I think that's what it's called).

Re: Dehydrated
i cannot tolerate water at all right now. i have ice chips and will also have seltzer. Every morning i get a medium ice coffee from DD and dump 3/4 out and fill it all back up with Soy Milk (im Dairy Free unfortunately...).
Drinking has been a huge issue for me since i was 5 weeks... i cannot wait for the MS part to be over...

Re: Dehydrated
I have always hated water and when it was mixed with a metallic taste in my mouth it was awful!!! I just ate wintogreen mints immediately after drinking a glass of water to get rid of the taste.

If coke is the only thing you can stomach then I would try decaf coke. And honestly I think even your dr would say just stay hydrated.
