Buying baby clothes before shower?
I would not buy anything until after your shower. I did and wound up returning most of it...

Buying baby clothes before shower?
Crashing - keep in mind also that on top of the shower, people are likely to bring you clothes as gifts when they come to meet the baby after he's born.

Crashing to say that I bought a few things for good luck when I found out the gender. I couldn't resist! I actually bought things in 12months bc I have heard that the majority of clothes you get at the shower are 0-3 and 3-6. Now when DS wears clothes I bought him before he was born, I 
I would say if you find something really cute then why not ??

I bought 2 pairs of socks that were on clearance at Target... nothing else yet! My MIL bought a couple of onesies but that's it so far.
