Re: Ocean City, MD
We ate at the Shark on the Harbor in West Ocean City last year and it was delicious! I also like Bahama Mamas. Guido's Burritos at 1st and the Boardwalk is also good. The Lazy Lizard is also a great restaurant for families and the food is pretty good. Davinci's on the Boardwalk has good italian food. Mug and Mallet is casual and has good seafood and is right on the boardwalk.
I find that most of the restaurants in OC have so-so service and decent food. The only awesome meal I have had there was at Shark on the Harbor...I also hear that Liquid Assets is excellent, but we haven't tried it yet.

Re: Ocean City, MD
Thanks so much for all the suggestions. Are the restaurants you recommended all ok for kids? I should have mentioned I have a five year old son.
Thanks!

The only restaurant I didn't bring my kids to was Shark on the Harbor, though a few other people had their kids there. The rest are all family friendly, especially Lazy Lizard...they have a playground, face painting, ice cream cart all out on the docks where you wait for a table, etc.

Re: Ocean City, MD
Phillips is an all you can eat seafood buffet we went there growing up with my family and my moms best friends family with a total of 5 kids ranging in age from 8(me as the oldest) to a 2 or 3 year old I can't remember. It's def not a romantics place but with all you can eat crab legs sooooooo worth it!

Re: Ocean City, MD
For those who said Phillips, how does it compare to Embers? We went there 2 years ago and planned to go back but now I am thinking Phillips instead.
We are definitely going to go Sahara Café for breakfast. It has gotten great reviews!

Re: Ocean City, MD
I think both Philips and Embers are ok...we went to Embers a few years back and thought it was good. Phillips is a bit overpriced for me. I love eating at the restaurant though! And we do take out for lunch a lot...they have the best red and white crab soup and good peel and eat shrimp.

I've been going to OC my whole life and it's been there at least that long (30 years).

Re: Ocean City, MD
It's on Coastal Highway at about 28th. Across from Old Pro Golf. Right near Phillips actually.
