Just came back from my midwife appt.- It was good
Just had my midwife appt. All of my bloodwork came back "beautiful" as my midwife said. I heard the heartbeat. It was wild. But I was sad DH wasn't there for it I thought this was just a review of my bloodwork and maybe a pelvic exam. The midwife said the baby's heartbeat was 157. Sounds like it was excited to me.
Oh yeah and I told them I didn't want to know my weight unless there is a problem and the midwife said that is okay but the problem was that I gained zero pounds since I was in over a month ago. I thought that it was a good thing to not overeat and overdo it but she wants me to gain more! Can't win, can I? I needed to lose weight before but now I need to gain weight. Gee!

Glad your appointment went well
and I say "congrats" to not gaining any weight!! Yes I know your midwive wants you to gain some, but as long as your baby is doing well that's what matters! (and eventually that weight will start to creep up a teeny bit .. my gaining really didn't kickstart until about week 22 or so)

Re: Just came back from my midwife appt.- It was good
I feel really bad that she wants me to gain because I thought I needed to lose before and figured this would be a good way to lose a little in the end.
I am also not very hungry and it makes me feel STUFFED to eat when I am not hungry.
Will it just start to come on naturally at a point? I afraid of overdoing it and having too much to lose aferwards.
