Who wants to dress me for a Roaring 20s birthday party

Ooooh that is really fun! Anything beaded, fringey, and drop waisted! Sue Wong dresses are a bit flapperish.
I absolutely love this dress, of course, because it's $400. 
For accessories- feathered headband, elbow length gloves, long beaded necklaces, and cigarette holders! At least this is what I think of when I think of roaring 20s!
ETA: And waves or pin curls in your hair!

You had to get me looking at these Sue Wong dresses, now I can't stop. There are so many deco embellished dresses that are awesome but they're $500 
But they are FAB!

I think it does! If you get it though, make sure you wear a slip or something underneath because that is very see through!

Check out RueLala and those kinds of sites! I got my Sue Wong dress for $109 from RueLaLa!
ETA: $109 is still expensive for a costume dress, but they are sooooo pretty and such fantastic quality. I wore mine to a wedding last year.

PLUS because of The Great Gatsby coming to theaters soon, hints of 20's fashions are going to make a huge comeback. Watch.
So, it might be worth the investment if you can get another couple of wears out of it. Then just divide the number of times you think you'll wear it by the price... that's how I always justify $$ purchases.

ha, ha coming on this board is soooo dangerous. But I knew I was in the right place b/c that's how I tend to think already. Cost per wear, right? if only my DH agreed with me. Some of those dresses were on Ideeli but the ones I liked were sold out already, but gives me hope.

So I did end up ordering and keeping this
modcloth dress
I like it. It's not flapper. Hopefully it looks vintage enough. But it was tough to find a flapper ish dress that ran large enough and wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg.
I did order this one but it hasn't arrived yet.
Simply be
Maybe it will have the wow factor. If not I'm glad to have the nude/peach one to fall back on.
