Is there such a thing as too active for the baby?
Yesterday I felt baby A TONS! I felt baby B as well but A was so active. He's who I felt first by almost a week when I started feeling them and he's gotten progressively stronger as the weeks have gone by lol. That being said- I told my DH I felt like he was trying to break out of my stomach yesterday. My husband felt him at least 5-6 times during the day-- every time he tried he could feel him. DH asked me if there's such a thing as too much movement and I actually feel dumb even posting this, but truthfully I don't know the answer... It's not something that's worrying me- and I have a drs appt tomorrow anyway but figured I would ask on here! I know that as much as i feel them there are times when i look at the sono screen & they're moving but i cant feel every movement they make, so maybe its just me feeling him more since he's growing? I'm 24 weeks (yesterday or tomorrow depending on which dr you ask lol) thanks!

Re: Is there such a thing as too active for the baby?
No, I don't think so. I believe it does have something to do with how they will be outside of the womb, though!!
My DS was non stop when I was pregnant and he still is. Towards the end of my pregnancy, we would put random objects on my belly and he would literally kick them across the room LOL. He is a very active 28mo now!!!
As for these babies... Baby B is just like my DS was and Baby A doesn't move as much, although he/she still moves a lot!

Baby A is on my left and lower down. Baby B is on my right and usually higher up. A couple of nights ago I'm sure teu were kicking each other back and forth a few times- they must've been feet to feet. when its middle movement only I get confused sometimes lol

this gives me reason to hope for LESS movement, I'd like to have a little lamb too!! It's definitely sporadic now at 22w, so at 24 weeks+ maybe I'll have a better idea if I have a future wild child on my hands!

Re: Is there such a thing as too active for the baby?
The same thing happened to me...in my rational mind I knew there was nothing wrong with it but at the next peri appointment I mentioned it and they pretty much laughed and told me "an active baby is a healthy baby"..but she really felt like she was trying to break out of there between 26 to 30 weeks..now this kid is so big I feel her much less....

Re: Is there such a thing as too active for the baby?
I hope its not related to how they are outside the womb I have an almost 7 yr old DD who is very active, doesn't fall asleep some nights until midnight. I need a sleeper this time and this baby can move!

Ds was lazy inside me and is a very active toddler. I doubt their is any correlation.

Honestly I'm sure it's more related to the location of the placenta than anything else. If it's posterior you're more likely to feel more/stronger movements.... with anterior it could be more muffled.
