Haven't really posted much here but have a concern.
Just went for my cd13 testing. Had a great follicle on the left side measuring 23mm. Dr said I should be ovulating at any time now.
He was a lil concerned that my lining was measuring pretty thick (at 17mm I believe he said). I also spotted for about a week before AF full flow came last month. So because of those 2 things he wants to do an endometrial biopsy next month if I am not pregnant. He said he is being very overally cautious and he does not think there is any problem but he did mention pre- cancerous cells/cancer.
I am freaking out. So nervous. I am scared for the biopsy and even more scared of the results. I hope I get pregnant this month so I dont have to worry about it.
Any experience with this, words of advice/wisdom, or experiences with the biopsy?
TIA

Re: Haven't really posted much here but have a concern.
Not sure if there are more details that we may be missing here but I think the doc jumped the gun by saying the word 'cancer'. Thick lining and spotting before AF could be caused by a plethora of things (I'm speaking from experience as someone who has both). If I were you, I'd put that out of my head for now. Go about the tests because it's still important (for your fertility) to understand the cause of these two things but it is far to soon and presumptious (IMO) to be thinking cancer if those are the only two things going on.

I know how you feel!!! 3 weeks ago I had a water sono and afterwards my RE said he saw some polyps and my lining was irrgeular. He then said...could be endometrial hyperplasia, could be cancer I'm sched for polyp surg and d&c next week.
I had an endometrial biopsy in Sept when we started all this...for me it was cake! So quick and only very minor discomfort/cramping.
I know they have to give best and worst case scenarios, but it just plain ol sucks to hear...well I think it's nothing but could be really bad
Best of Luck to you!!!!!!

A friend of mine went through this about a year or 2 ago and everything was fine. Its better that they check though just in case there's an issue. GL Jess!!
