feeling so sad and fat
i know, i know, weight gain is not what i should be focusing on, but i cant but feel really bad about myself and all the weight i have gained. it is my fault, i have been eating a lot, and i am also incredibly swollen in my legs and feet. i am 27 weeks and up 35 pounds, which is just awful and i feel so depressed about it.
has anyone else ever felt like this? how do you get past it? thanks for letting me vent.

I feel the same way and pretty much up the exact same weight as you. I am 28 weeks and up 36lbs. Its hard, it was hard with DD (gained 56 total) and no, it honestly didn't pass. Thank goodness I lost most of it within 6 months of having her. I am healthy, just not comfortable. Just hang in there, it goes so fast.

Re: feeling so sad and fat
One of my friends was really swollen the second 1/2 of her pregnancy. Her dr gave her a water pill to take and that helped a lot with the swelling.

Re: feeling so sad and fat
I am only 9 weeks (tomorrow) and I am finding it hard to hide it. I got on the scale and I am up 8 lbs.... I want to cry! I gained almost 40 with DD so I really want to avoid that again, especially since I wasn't at my "goal weight" when we got pg. it's all for a good cause, but it's so hard not to freak out lol

don't feel bad it's only temporary. a lot of that weight is probably water. It comes off quickly.

Re: feeling so sad and fat
I feel the same. It stings even harder for me because I worked my ass off to lose weight before I got pregnant. Then I had to be put on thyroid meds which make me gain weight even easier, so it's like a domino effect. I feel like it's all in my butt and thighs
I just keep telling myself that once I give birth I can lose it all, so don't worry about it!
