Rides while pregnant?
My school does a trip to Six Flags - we will be going when I am 15w2d. Aside from the general queasiness I feel now, is there anything about going on rides/rollercoasters while pregnant? Would it be reasonable to say I would like to be with a group of students who said they don't like to go on rollercoasters?
ETA: I'm not a big rollercoaster person to begin with I was just wondering if it would seem whiny/annoying when I spoke to the person in charge of the trip, or of this is a legitimate thing to bring up. I probably won't be on ANY rides, I have a good time just wandering the park and eating the snacks!

uhh yeah I'd def say that! You don't have to feel pressured to go on a ride just because you're the teacher in charge... you can watch them get on and wait for them to get off. When I went to Dourney Park with my students I didn't go on ANY rides because I'm a massive baby! I made it clear I'd be the one holding cameras and hats.

The rides that are not good for you will have a warning sign at the front of the line. You need to stick to the smooth/easy rides like the carousel, ferris wheel, etc. No big drops, no jarring movement, etc. These things can cause the placenta to pull away from the uterus and other harmful things.

Most of the rides say if you are pregnant you can not go on them.

Re: Rides while pregnant?
My OB told me not even to play a simple game of volleyball or basketball b/c the "jumping" and "up and down" motion could cause a miscarriage -- there's no way on God's green earth I'd ever go on a roller coaster... not to mention the fact that they can give a non-pregnant person a mild concussion! Avoid!

I'M NOT GOING ON THE RIDES!!!! I just wanted to make sure this was a legit thing when I bring it up, and not something I'm making up or 'using my pregnancy' to get out of something!

No rides!! Except for the sit on the bench & rest ride:) Take it easy.
To answer your question, it would be absolutely legit & not whiny to want to stick to the group not going on rides. Maybe take that group to see shows that day.

Definitely legit -- it's not like you are just making up a convenient theory for yourself lol I think anyone, Doctor or not, would say that it is legitimate due to being PG.
Enjoy the churro's though

That's what I always do too. I HATE rides!
OP, no I would not go on any rides. Most of them say pregnant women should not go on.
ETA: Being pregnant is definitely a valid "excuse"!
