I watch it. It's like watching a train wreck. I laugh and it's entertaining but the girls annoy me. They are so over the top dramatic. Everything is "we gotta go to war" or "we gotta have a sit down" They think who they are. Their family members were in the mob, not them. And if I hear ramona say "my grandfather is lefty guns" one more time...
I love drita though!!

I know reality really means fake but this show takes it to another level. Karen was smiling when taking Carla to Love. It was like she knew exactly what was going to happen.
It is just stupid at this point. I am over this show.

ITA! Love is a psycho! I will say though, although Carla annoyed me this season, she is kind of badass. If I knew some lunatic like Love wanted to kill me, I wouldn't go near her lol. I was also happy with Renee last night. Finally acted like a grown up. Love Drita .

Love is a complete lunatic. A friend of mine used to work with her and confirmed that she is nutso. I saw her post (I think on twitter) that it was all staged, hence why they were smiling walking over to the table. So I dunno what to beleive. Do I think it is staged 100% but to that drasmatic level, yeah I guess I can see it. It was the perfect way to get Renee to talk to Carla again and set a new story line for next season.
I am from SI and these women embarass me. I do love Drita, Ang, and Carla.

It was totally staged. The more I think about it, the more obvious it is is.
I mean the girls all know Love is Crazy and she wants to attach Carla but they all step back and let Carla get walked across the room to Love all while the girls are smiling.

I am wondering - how are drita and carla living in nice homes, wearing nice clothes and driving expensive cars when they don't work and their husbands are in jail (I am talking about since season 1 - i know their husbands are out of jail now). where did they get the money from?

I know an inside person on the show and Love was kicked off because of this fight and she is deemed a liability for the show. She will not be on the reunion.
The cast members have their expenses paid while on the show (mortgage/rent included). They further make money from appearances etc.

Love is CRAZY. Staged or not, this chick hears voices in her head - I'm totally convinced.
One of the dads from my DD's class when to highschool with her and knows most of them. He told me Love is insane, as if I couldn't see that for myself.

Like someone else posted the show covers a lot of expenses.
The show was out together by Renee's sister. She made sure that her Renee was taken care of. The house that she just moved out of as well as the new house were rented. Renee doesn't have any money which is why this show was started.
I have heard that Carla's DH had a good amount of money before he went away. I think the same goes for Drita.
Karen is broke. They had a ton of money from the Drug ring that her, her brother, her bf and her father were involved in but a lot of it got taken by the cops and the rest went to lawyers.

Love is absolutely bonkers. I haven't even seen her on MW but I had my runins with her years ago.
Anyone remember the show Family Bonds?
She ended up hooking up with Dan (the couch surfer friend) and started all kinds of drama with the Evangelistas and with fans on their message boards. Basically, she went ballistic. Rumors were she was latching on to him to get her mug on TV. Eventually Dan dumped her because he was supposedly screwing around with Flo
(I'm embarrassed to know any of this BTW, I'm even more embarrassed that I was on a fan board for them *hangs head in shame*)

I wasn't sure if the show paid them before filming started and I assumed that those were their homes before the show started so I was wondering how they had money if their husbands were in jail. I thought that their husbands had to have it stashed aways somewhere before they went away! But I thought they were in for a pretty long time. just seemed weird.

Yes to stashing, no to mob taking care of them. At one time, with the old school guys this was the case to some extent but not anymore and Carla's husband was white collar crime so it wouldn't even apply. I think Carla's parents might have some $$ also.
