Happy Spring everyone!!!
It did take some time to get here but, I'm so excited to be posting here and looking forward to getting to know you all. I have a few questions.
Did anyone continue to exercise ? (Light weights, bike riding, aerobics etc..)
What diet changes did you make & what point did you start?
Anyone travel (fly) in the first 2 trimesters? DH & I want go somewhere maybe June/July.
I appreciate any guidance & ideas you can give me.
Wishing you all healthy pregnancies & babies!!!

Welcome and CONGRATS!!!!
To answer some of your questions...you can continue working out with what you always did but watch with the lifting. Minimal weight training is ok though. They say not to start anything new. My doctor told me that if I want to start up on the elliptical again (I stopped my 1st trimester and half of my 2nd because I had hyperemisis) to only start at 10 minutes and don't push it. She said I could work my way to a half hour (I was doing an hour before pregnancy) but nothing more.
I only altered my eating habits to no cold cuts or sushi and watched my cheeses (only pasteurized and no soft cheeses). Also, when I go out to eat and order steak I make sure it's well done (yuck).
I went away my 1st trimester (Riveria Maya, Mexico) and my 2nd trimester (Costa Rica). My doctor told me no traveling after 36 weeks. I was told just to move about a lot on the plane and drink LOTS of water. I got SUPER swollen ankles the two days I traveled (going and coming home) which hurt like hell but after putting my feet up overnight they were back to normal. You can DEF go away and enjoy yourself! Just make sure you stay hydrated and if you leave the country be careful of the water.
Happy and healthy 9 months!

Re: I'm joining you!!!!
Congrats!!!!
I'm pregnant with my third baby and worked out until the end with both of my others. My doctor and physical therapist (for back/rib issues) encouraged it.
I flew during both previous pregnancies a ton and stopped, per my doctor, at 32 weeks. This pregnancy I have several trips planned, the last one at 34 weeks which my doctor reluctantly said okay to.
As for food, this is what i have always done based on my Dr and my research: no alcohol, no sushi, no cold cuts, no nitrates (hot dogs and stuff), nothing artificially sweetened, no unpasteurized cheeses, no bean sprouts (due to some type of bacteria), no high mercury fish (mackerel, tuna, grouper...).

Thank you so much. I get the no unpasturized cheese and cold cuts, and high mercury seafood. How about shrimp and salmon? I think I read that they have the minimal amounts of mercury.

I flew at 16 weeks with no issues at all. My OB receommended that if I was going to fly, that I did in the 2nd tri and to avoid the 1st and 3rd.

Re: I'm joining you!!!!
congrats and welcome,
I didn't do exercise because my doctor told me if I didn't do it regularly not to do it that early on. I am doing some exercise now. In terms of eating my morning sickness didn't allow me to eat anything. So I ate whatever I could stomach mainly fruits and stuff.
I traveled to Costa Rica at 9 weeks it was a 5 hour flight other than my legs falling asleep I was fine during the trip but exhausted
I traveled to Ecuador at 14 weeks and I was perfectly fine.
