Grrr, my mom outed me on FB!
We told my family last week on Easter and I said several times, no FB please! I don't want to put it on FB until we find out the gender, and I certainly didn't want anything before my 12 week appt tomorrow!
But my mom posted something today! We only have family members in common as friends, as far as I know, but I'm still irritated that she didn't listen. And I made sure to specifically tell her that when I said no FB I meant her! I guess she thought since we were telling my MIL this weekend that now it was ok.
Guess I have to be even more specific next time, grrr.....

WHY do moms do this crap?!?! I will never understand. They must realize the reason we ask them not to tell, right? My mom gave me a hard time with this with both of my pregnancies. So annoying!

My mother did the same thing. I was 9 weeks and spotting. I was like a fire breathing dragon when I called her. She took it down immediatley and as far as I know no one saw. So sorry I remember how upset I was. On the other hand I tried to see her side. I know she is very excited. I was still upset haha

This is why I'm waiting a litle longer to tell about DC#2. Last pregnancy, I told both immediate families at 8 weeks after the first doctor's appt. This time, I hope there are no issues and I can wait until I'm 10 weeks as planned (Mother's Day).
I will tell my mom not to tell anyone but I know she'll tell my aunt and probably her close friend...
I will tell my MIL not to tell anyone but I know she'll tell her friend and DH's aunts.

crashing-my MIL did that to me when I was pregnant with my DS. I was so mad. I was screaming at my DH "didn't you tell her its really early and not to say anything" (I was only about 6 weeks pregnant at that point). I was furious! I deleted it because ti was posted to my wall so I could delete it, but some of DH friends had found out that way. It was so not cool!

oh no!! but don't be too mad at her that's how moms are they get excited!!
Although my mom didn't put it on fb Im sure she messaged some of her family members to let them know of the news before I was out lol

Glad to see I'm not the only one! I'm not really mad since I don't think any of my friends saw, just family members. And it's nice that she's excited since this is her 8th grandchild and I thought it would kinda be old hat by now.
I mentioned to her today and she was like, well I waited until Monday, meaning she made sure my MIL knew first. Uh, thanks, that's not what I meant!
