Showing already??
So I’m 9w3d and I am already busting out of my jeans. Pre-pregnancy I was wearing a size 8. At the 8 week doc appointment I was up about 6 pounds in 2 months. Ever since I’ve gotten pregnant I’ve had no energy to work out and my intentions to eat well have taken a backseat to the daily nausea, resulting in me eating comfort foods instead of salads.
So is it possible this pooch I’m seeing is “showing” or am I just gaining weight from the food/lack of exercise? I felt like as soon as I found out I was pregnant I was bloated so it seemed to come immediately. But I’m barely at 10 weeks. Is that too soon to really be getting your bump?? Especially since it doesn't look like the cute baby bumps I've seen posted on here!
Just to mention, I’ve struggled with weight issues my whole life. I’m doing my best to just relax and enjoy the ride, I guess I just didn’t expect to feel so big so soon.

Re: Showing already??
I think I started really seeing a bump at around 9 and a half weeks. I posted a few pics below that are 10 and a half and 11 and a half weeks. I definitely think you could be showing. Or it could be pregnancy bloat - not bloat from eating, just from all the hormones! Which is fine!!

Re: Showing already??
I was out of my regular pants at 5wks
I feel like I've consistently looked like 6wks further than I really am and that still holds true now at 20wks. Eh if baby is healthy that's all that matters. Enjoy your bump I was a little self conscious at first about looking prematurely big, but I guess it comes with the territory of me being 5' ... maybe a few burgers and fries .. I have no shame but carry your bump proud. Loads of women would be envious of an early bump!

Re: Showing already??
Is this your first? If not, it could very well be the comfort foods thing... I find I'm carb-loading these days as it's the only thing that'll make the nausea subside for a little while.
I think if you've been pregnant before, it's expected to pop earlier. I'm already looking to stock up on maternity clothes because I don't think I have too much time. I just don't want it to be really obvious before I'm ready to tell people. I'm only 5 weeks tomorrow!

Re: Showing already??
I think its possible that you are showing at 9w and it doesn't meant you will be huge or that you will have a huge baby. Every pregnancy is different and everyone carries differently. Some women don't look pregnant at all until their 7th month that's when they gain everything. Maybe yours will be gradual.

Showing already??
This is my first. I think all those carbs are definitely making me "feel" bulkier even if I may not be that much bigger. I guess I'll just try to hold on to the fact that everyone is different and will show at different times. Thanks everyone!

Showing already??
I started to get my belly I thought around 9-10 weeks. My sister is an OB and liked to just tell me it was bloat but I just ignored her. I'm also 5' and I think while my uterus didn't move much by then, where does it really have to go when you are that short?!
Like PennyCat said...embrace your belly and sport those maternity pants/shirts...yes, they really are THAT comfortable!

Re: Showing already??
It could just be bloat. I'm 16 weeks and I feel like I was bigger 2 weeks ago than I am today. I gained 6 pounds in the 1st trimester and now it just seems I'm maintaing the same weight. As they say, everyone is different, so don't worry!

Re: Showing already??
I'm also 9w3d! I feel ultra bloated and have a pooch under my belly button. My pants are kept buttoned with hair ties. I assumed it was still bloating since it's so low, I haven't really gained any weight though.
I think you could def be showing already, or it's a little of both, bloating and showing.
