Re: Those expecting #2

I am a little scatter brained today but heres what I came up with.

To do
Wash nb clothes
pack hospital bag
when I get c/s date, arrange sitter for dd
wash cover on rnp
have dh go in crawl space to see what I saved

to buy
not sure yet because its been 7 yrs since i've been preggo and mil and sil are throwing me a shower. i saved changing table/dresser but my crib got destroyed.
I've been buying diapers when there is a really good deal or coupon.

I've signed dd up for sibling class at the hospital and booked photographer.

Re: Those expecting #2

To Do:
- Go through clothes we saved (will do this after we find out the gender)
- Go through the stuff we saved and re-clean everything.
- Put the crib back together and get DD a new bed (she's using the crib as a toddler bed).

To Buy:
- Some new clothes (depending on the gender).
- New parts for the bottles
- Replace mattress covers/changing table covers, bibs, burp clothes etc.
- Another sleep soother animal/mobile because my DD still uses the music from her baby ones.
- Diapers

Re: Those expecting #2

Well you know I had to get extra since it's twins this time, but I saved Tommy's bottles and wound up buying new ones because they old ones were cracked maybe from being stored and it was hot or something. ALso this time a friend lent me her Rock & Play which they did not have back in 2009, and I bought new pacifiers, diaper cream all that. Loaded up on diapers, wipes and formula. And got a bottle sterilizer too because Tommy's stuff and ours already takes up room in the dishwasher so I will make good use of that.

To buy:
New crib-once baby is born.

To do:
Once baby is born, wash clothes of that gender.
Before baby is born, wash bibs, diaper cloths, gender neutral clothing.
Wash bottles.

Re: Those expecting #2

Already Did: During spring break I had DH pull everything out of the attic so I already washed and inspected all baby gear, but I know I'll have to wash it again before DS#2 arrives. I also went through the baby clothes up to 6 months and threw out anything stained. I have been slowly buying things over the past month such as a baby bag, new baby bedding, clothes, bath stuff like wash cloths. I also inspected my breast pump and bought all new parts and bottles for it.

Still need to:
wash baby clothes
put swing together
paint nursery again and redecorate
convert DS's bed back to a crib
buy furniture for DS and set up his new room.
pull out and clean bottle warmer
pull out and clean drying rack

Still need to buy:
new video monitor
bottles
pacifiers
baby book/memory book
Ergo baby carrier
crib sheets
changing pad covers
bibs
teething ring
white onesies
pack hospital bag
buy diapers and formula

I think that's it... for now anyway

The only thing I have is part of my double stroller. Yup, thats it lol

I have a ton to buy because I moved cross country and had to get rid of a lot of stuff from my first child.
