What is your favorite nursery in LI?
But also, in addition, looking for organic nurseries? That may have organic seeds and organically grown plants, supplies with helpful staff?

I really love Prianti's.......unsure if any of it is organic but you can call and ask - they are so helpful.
(631) 499-0772 they are in Dix Hills..

the only thing that is funny is being followed around by chickens when you first enter......

Although it's not a nursery I buy a lot of my plants from Cross Island Fruist supermarket in the Malverne/Lynbrook border. They have an array of flowers/plants throughout the year and their prices can't be beat.
As for actual nuersey I bought a lot of bushes last year at the end of the season from Westminster Farms in West Hempstead. Everyone there was super knowledgable and helpful.

I used to frequent Cipriani's in East Meadow when I lived in Nassau and Atlantic nursery in Freeport. Dee's in Oceanside (someone here is a part of the family that owns Dee's).
I've pretty much exhausted what's widely available in nurseries so now I buy online from:

Their plants are small but I already have a good base of mature plants and shrubs and am a patient gardener.
