I think he normally has facial hair...being clean shaven makes him look really different...kinda like when my dad decided to shave his mustache after seeing him with one for 35 years! 
I like him better with the facial hair.

for will i think it is that he shaved off the facial hair. i think he is just starting to look older, too.
i don't normally think michael phelps is that attractive, but something about the hipster vibe he has here is working for me!
