Re: keratin hair salons
First Liberty Hair Salon in North Babylon. They only charge $79 (this was a groupon price, but they honor that price every time I go just like they said they would). I would tell them you saw the groupon and ask them to honor the price. They have 2 different keratin products. There was like no odor from it at all. I get the same effect and it lasts just as long as when I used to go to Hair Club IB in queens (all they do is hair straightening) and it always stunk and burned my eyes.

I was thinking about going here and wasn't sure because I don't know anyone who has gone here, and the price is so good that it worried me! I think you may have convinced me. Which keratin product did you use?

The one I got there is the Rejuvenol. It is a spray on, not something they put on with a brush. I was also skeptical because of the price... like they were going to give the Brazilian blow-out, not the real keratin treatment, but it's the real deal. It's a smallish hair salon, but nicely updated. Everyone was really nice and friendly. I had a great experience there the 2 times I got it done.
When I used to go to queens, it was such a production. All the Asians running around... pulling at your hair... 5 people working on you at a time.
At first liberty, it was such a relaxing experience. Having 1 person work on me and I can have a conversation with them. And it was done in like 1 hour.

I bought the Groupon! Thanks for your input. How long does the Rejuvenol usually last?

It lasts well for like 3 months. I'm at 3 1/2 months now and i can still blow dry my hair straight and smooth (which is IMPOSSIBLE without the treatment) but it's not quite as straight or as smooth as it once was.

keratin hair salons
The essentials in roosevelt field mall. Roberto did my hair but the problem is when he blow dries my hair theres a lot of smoke coming out and the fire alarm goes on for 3 times thats why we need to stop. We ended up in his place in west hempstead. Costs me $150 for my long hair.
