i bit a piece of green moldy bread

Hi,

I am just over 12 weeks pregnant and i accidentally bit a piece of whole wheat bread this morning that happened to be green molded when i looked at the rest of the slice. I swallowed what i had in my mouth already, but of course threw out the slice and the rest of the loaf.

Will 1 bite of green moldy bread harm the baby? Drs office is closed today and I'm not sure if its worth an emergency call.

What do you ladies think?

I also think you are fine. It sounds like the mold was on the bread but not a piece you bit. If you become sick then I would call the dr but I'm sure everything is ok.

Thanks! I did call the dr! He said not to worry-- baby should be fine! Of course, I still have it in the back of my mind- pregnancy is so nerve wracking (yet joyous)! Thanks for your feedback!
