Anyone have wainscoting in a bedroom?
We are moving DS (age 3) to a bigger bedroom. I am at a loss as to how to decorate his room.
I thought about doing wainscoting. Maybe whiteish bottom and a darker blue on top. Someone then told me wainscoting is too much for a bedroom and that it will make the room look smaller. (it's a avg/good sized room)
Thoughts?

We have DS in a good size room with wainscoting - we have tan on the bottome and blue on top. I like it, I dont think ti makes the room look smaller at all. I like it

I love it in a bedroom. If the room calls for it. I wouldn't think it looked good with say Care Bears all over the top part lol. But a nice blue on top-love it

My dd room has the wainscot on the bottom. We painted it cottage white. The top is a pink. It's a small room, but in no way does the wainscot make it look smaller

I was just going to answer that my SIL has wainscotting in her boys room and it looks great!
We have a chair rail so it's similar to wainscotting... I think it will look great. I especially love the way it looks if the wainscotting is at like eye level.
