I have a question about the FMLA. I am due June 12th with DC #2. Between having been on bed rest last time, DS only just turning 2 and hurricane sandy I am still negative days. So I know I can still borrow until I reach negative 20 and then go on the grace period. I figure this can get me to the end of school as long as I don't have to go out to early again. We are all on my insurance so that is the issue.mi know the FMLA is 12 weeks. Does that count for July and August when we are technically not working? Also, do I still get my untouched summer pay? So confused. Ay advice woul help.

Summer wont count for your days so you don't have to worry about that. You could even split your FMLA time if you don't use all 12 weeks in June, you could use the remaining time in September. If you go past the -20 days, you go into grace which means you only get paid for weekends and holidays. If your regular paycheck changes, like in that case, then your summer pay will be affected. It sounds like if you are due in June, you are only looking at having to take a couple of weeks so this may not even be too much of an issue for you.
