Using Browser History to Raise Travel Prices
We have these little tvs in our elevators at work, mostly the weather, stocks, etc. but every now and then they have an interesting story. I saw on there today that travel websites use your browser history to guess at which flights/hotels you would be interested and raising the prices... JUST FOR YOU, just because they know that's what you were looking for. How wrong is that?!
Moral of the story: Clear your browser history regularly!!

Yeah, I've heard of this happening before...it sucks the big one!
Thanks though...I'm booking travel now and it was a reminder to clear my history!

This is true. That is why I search for prices on one computer and then use another one to purchase the tickets.
