24 week appt
Hey ladies,
Do any of you know what to expect on the 24th week appt. My next apt with my Doc is at 24 weeks in 2 weeks. I was wondering if you get an U/S?

Haven't had it yet but it's my next one, I asked the dr. & he said they listen to hb (no u/s) & just a quick check-up, weight, etc.

that's what I thought. This also happened on my 19week I had an apt and no u/s. We just heard the heart and checked my weight etc. My level II was a couple of days after. Thank you

I had my glucose test at 24 weeks and the last of the needles, Yay. Dr said my next sono will be at 36 weeks.

I was told no more sonos until 32 weeks to check fluid levels and size. Every apt has been weight, hb and questions that's it. The 24-25 week is when u get ur glucose test script though

glucose? I thought that was at 28-30...oh boy I have been indulging on a lot of crap! lol thanks ladies

I think most glucose tests are done at 28 weeks..at least thats what my ob told me...I remember getting it done at 28 weeks with both boys. At the 24 week I'll get the script for the glucose..

24 week appt
No u/s. They checked my urine, the heartbeat, and my weight. They also gave me information about any classes I might want to sign up for and cord blood information. They gave me a script for my Rhogam shot (I'm RH negative) that I will get at my next appt and the script for my glucose test (I had to go to Quest).

24 week appt
24 week is just a HB, unrine etc check.
After 20 weeks you may only have 1 more sono and even that depens on the Dr and insurance.
You only get more if soemthing is wrong or are high risk. Other than that you have quick basic appts

I am having a glucose test.
Since I am having twins I am also having growth sono, having my cervix checked and they are scraping my whoo haa  to make sure I am not likely to go into pre term labor. Not looking forward to next Thursday at all.
