Prothrombin Gene Mutation

Does anyone have any experience with this? Someone in my family has this so my ob tested me for it and it came back positive. I am meeting with a hematologist next week, but I am wondering if have anyone has dealt with this before. TIA>

Re: Prothrombin Gene Mutation

I *think* I have this. I have a bunch of clotting issues and I forget which ones i have Chat Icon I don't have the paperwork nearby. For me, I have to be on lovenox and baby aspirin during pregnancy. My peri recommended I take baby aspirin everyday, pregnant or not. These clotting issues are verrrry common. Good luck!!

Thanks! I tested positive for this and also for the MTHFR C677 mutation. I guess I will know more next week. If anyone else has an experience please share.
