Pregnancy pillow
Please recommend your pregnancy pillow! At 17 weeks, side sleeping is starting to become uncomfortable. Don't want something too big and bulky that's going to take up the whole bed. Thanks.

Re: Pregnancy pillow
I'm getting to this point - I can feel it starting so probably in the next couple of weeks. So, great question, I'm really looking forward to the answers and hopefully some great recommendations

Pregnancy pillow
I tried a body pillow when I was around 16 weeks and it was just too bulky. I ended up using a throw pillow (one of the extra decorative pillows that I use when I make the bed). It's been working great until recently (I'm 27w3d). I am going to start using the boppy pillow soon but I've been trying to put it off as long as possible.

Re: Pregnancy pillow
I bought a Snoogle at 17 weeks bc I couldn't take it anymore. I was tossing and turning all night with the worst backache... I even tried using a pillow inbetween my legs with no luck. My babe laughs every night I pull out the Snoogle bc it's huge. It wraps around ur body as if u are in a cocoon LOL! It is funny looking but comfortable... It has def helped me sleep.

Re: Pregnancy pillow
I just put a regular pillow between my knees. Works perfectly and my hubby still fits in the bed too!

Re: Pregnancy pillow
i just use one of the euro pillows between my knees and got extra bed pillows that are firmer to tuck behind me and in front of me... that way i dont have this huge bulky pillow on the bed ...

Pregnancy pillow
I use the snoogle and love it. It's not as big as that U-shaped pillow above. I keep it on the outside of the bed, which supports my back when I lay on my left side and it doesn't get between me and DH.

Oh wow, it looks fantastic but I'm laughing because I can just see ME, that thing, DH (who is huge), and TWO dogs in the bed! HAHAHA thank God we went up to a king! That looks like heaven, makes me want to nap right now

Re: Pregnancy pillow
I didn't buy a pregnancy pillow. A big part of the reason is that I didn't want to rely on it and get used to it so it would be difficult to sleep pp. The other night I was sleeping on my back and snoring away and poor DH kept gently nudging me and telling me to switch positions. Something about sounding like a freight train He brought me a regular pillow and put it lengthwise up against my right side and it did the trick! I sleep with my right shoulder and side slightly on the pillow and I can sleep longer on my back. I'm definitely at the tossing and turning stage, trying to get into a comfortable position. It wasn't too comfortable the first night but it's working out as I get used to it.

Re: Pregnancy pillow
I had the snoogle and hated it with ds 1. I don't like hard pillows and found that it took up too much space.

Re: Pregnancy pillow
Love the snoogle! Used it with both pregnancies, and will use it this time with baby #3! It has great support. I even would fold it in half and use it to sleep in an upright reclined position when i had horrible heartburn at the end. I find it very useful.
