Putting a baby in a bath tub?
I have a tub that goes on the sink for Dd. I think it may be time to switch her to the bath tub. But what do I put her in? I remember they used to make bath rings, but feel like they were recalled. What's the next step and what do you recommend?

I got a bath ring on amazon. I dont think you can get them in store here in ny at least I couldn't find them. I don't ever leave my baby in the tub not for a second so I feel secure about letting her go in the bath ring. It great, she loves the tub and the bath ring helps her from sliding all over the tub.

I went right from the baby tub to just the tub. if they can sit up on their own I would go for it.

We use the tub from One Step Ahead. It is really roomy, so they won't outgrow it for quite some time - my nanny bathes DD and my nephew in it at the same time and they are both almost 2.
I won't put DD right into the tub yet because our tub is really slippery and she would slide all over. The inflatable tub is much easier, and it stays warmer longer since you need less water to fill it.

once DS outgrew the infant tub, we got the inflatable tub (it has a duck head) that fits inside the regular tub. i still use it!

We have the Eurobath. It's so big DS still fits at 9 months.
My friend uses a laundry basket and I will probably do the same when he outgrows the Eurobath. The baby has something to lean up against and something to hang on to. The toys won't float too far away. Great idea!

At one point we put DDs infant tub in the big tub, but turned it so she sat up in it instead of laying in it. It had that feature, but I don't know if all of them do. Then we put her in one of those blow up tubs before transitioning to the regular tub.

I have the fisher price whale tub... Have used it since day 1... Unfortunately for us, it didn't fit right in any of our sinks so we've always used it inside the bathtub... Still fits in it at 10 months... Although well prob retire it soon so she can move around more... We already have a bath mat ready for her to sit on in the tub

We used the FP whale tub until about 8 months, then got the bath seat from BBB posted above. I'm not ready to put DD in the big tub yet. I think she will move around way too much. I feel much safer with her in the seat.

used an inflatable tub after the whale tub but before DD was ready to sit on her own in the tub

I got a larger version of the baby tub from buy buy baby - it's white....I just put DS in the real bathtub and his 2.5. he was very happy in the smaller one
