What time does the cruise leave as I don't think you would have much time to do an excursion?

Kennedy Space Center int too far, just check their hours of operation. Seaworld can be dabble in that amount if time. But I would skip Disney or Universal. Cocoa Beach is ok if you're beach people.

Oh ok. I thought maybe the cruise was leaving at 4 or 5. The suggestions below are good

Re: Norweign Gem- Florida Excurion
My parents did the Kennedy excursion when they went on this cruise and loved it.
Ask about the squirrel when you go to the gift center, it is a really funny story, just trust me on this!

Re: Norweign Gem- Florida Excurion
DH wants to see the Kennedy Space Center, so we will probably do that excursion while we are docked there.

There is plenty of time to do the space center, we did it one of the times we went on the Gem.
BTW, we thought the steak at the french restaurant was better than the steak at the steak restaurant. If I were you, I'd replace Italian with the French. The Italian restaurant tastes like Olive Garden.

I agree about booking the French. It's probably our favorite of all. We've also had a good experience at the steak house.

We went to the dining room twice over 2 cruises - just to give them a second shot thinking maybe they had a bad night.
There are 2 dining rooms, one is dressy and one is casual. They both serve the same food. You should be able to fit into one of them with what you said. Most people wear shorts, shirts, sneakers, etc.

There's typically one captains night per cruise. Usually it's the closer to the beginning on the week in my past experience.
I wear dresses all week bc I love to get dressed up, DH wears slacks and a button down regardless bc he likes to dress up at night too. I miss the days when people used to go all out for captains night and the formal nights. NCL tends to draw a much more casual dress code compared to Holland or Princess. But we'll be dressing up regardless.
ETA: Dont forget a white outfit for the white party!
