cab rides

We are a 1 car house hold and I am trying to figure out how to take DD to Gymboree by myself (my MIL used to take her but she just broke her leg). I live in Westchester and I can get almost there by train and what would be a short cab ride. Can I take her in a cab without a car seat?

You can go in a cab without a car seat...
But it seems like a real hassle.

Why don't you consider a class walking distance from the train station? I'm assuming you go to Gymboree in Scarsdale? There is one near Scarsdale village (not a Gymboree though). There is a new one opening in new Rochelle (probably going to be easier to get to).

Alternatively, go when your DH can drop you off.

It didn't seem like a hassle to me...there are always cabs at the Hartsdale train station and its like a 3 minute ride - 5 minutes if you hit all the lights.

What one is near the Scarsdale train station?

I am trying to figure out what times DH could drop us off but the thing is I am a FTWM but would be home 1 day a week with DD with my MIL recovers.

we are already paying for gymboree so quick cab rides seemed like an easy short term solution if its legal..
