Shampoo that doesn't fade color

I just got my hair colored darker and i want it to last! What shampoo is good for not washing out color over time??

Anything sulfate free.
If it contains sodium or ammonium lauryl sulfate it will fade color faster
Try the Loreal Ever Pure line for a drugstore brand .
Or Living Proof is a great line that is sulfate free. It's more pricey though. I got it in Ulta

Thank you. I need to visit CVS or ulta. It's so frustrating to love my color when leaving the salon but know it won't be the same a month from now.

I also had DH install a filter on my shower head. He got it at Home Depot for around 20 bucks. It's like a Brita. Filters out chlorine which really fades color and dries out skin and hair.
Also if you can get away with not washing your hair everyday it's so much healthier for your hair a.d preserves the color longer.

I have always used the Loreal Color vive with no issues.
