I was in Forever 21 a month ago and it was like walking through a time warp. I've never experienced so many of the styles I wore in my teens all in one place, it was crazy.

I rocked an outfit just like this in 1987 Chat Icon

What old ladies like me remember Capezios?

Re: show me your floral jeans

I think it's funny that anyone here who even remotely likes them does not agree with me at all about which pair they would wear.

I want to buy some clothes that are new and fun but what? I think maybe this is not it after all!!

On the one hand I want to dress like an adult but on the other hand I do not want that to = boring and same old thing every season.

I just can't. They have them in maternity and I'm like I'd just rather wear a cute flowered shirt.

I just cant do this trend. sorry.

Agreed. I don't even do brightly-colored pants, but that's because I don't like any attention brought to the lower half of my body!

I think the reason is a. Bad bad bad flashbacks Chat Icon and b. you have to have the perfect model body for them, AND you have to pair it with something that is fashionable, yet does not scream 80's. for example, that first pic with that shirt is a fail, big time lol

Eta: I also think the colors are not flattering, and those jeans therefore will be short lived, but, certainly I am no fashion expert by any means

What about colored jeans that don't have a floral pattern? I see them all over, in nice colors too. I think they look pretty and you could go bolder with your top and shoes if your pants are a solid as well.

A trend that should NOT have come back IMO..even if your 100 lbs, those are just not that flattering...I think this is a trend like someone else said for the 16-21 yr old group.

I think it's an ugly trend to be honest, I'm yet to see a woman who looks good in floral jeans.

Im not a fan of this trend for me. On some people it's cute. Though at a party the other night a girl had them on, she looked good but all the guys kept calling her flower power all night. Men clearly do not care for the trend.

I am all for colored denim but NOT floral. Like someone else posted they are great for younger girls but not adults who have done this trend already.
