Question about dark stained decks
Do they get hot in the sun?
I really want a dark stain on my back deck but worried about it getting hot. It will be in direct sunlight. Thanks

I have a dark deck that is always in the sun and it does get hot.

Yes! My stain isnt even that dark. It's like a medium cedar color and good God it gets sooooo hot that you can't walk on it shoeless on a hot sunny day.

I have a chocolate brown stain on my deck and it does get hot, it's also under direct sun.
