Toddler losing pronounciation
DS is 2 (22 corrected) and I notice that a lot of the words that he has been pronouncing great have been changed for the worse. He used to say "pepper" now it's "peppey", "flower" is now "flowww." There's more, but I'm forgetting. He has started saying some words that he wasn't pronouncing so well a bit better. I'm just worried about the worse pronounciation, shouldn't it Be getting better??

I've noticed this with my boys too. I feel like as they learn new skills sometimes it may have an affect on things they already know. I wouldn't worry especially since he's pronouncing other words better, that he couldn't before.

Totally normal as they get more sounds they experiment with them. Just correct him nicely... yes that's a flower and he should pick up on it

I have noticed the same with one of my 18m/16m twins. a few months Big Bird was "Ba Bird" now she points and gets excited. She does not say anything close to what is was a few months ago.
