Mixing aquaphor with cherry maalox always works for me...but I may also try the baby powder and corn starch, sounds good!

If it's a bad diaper rash and not a yeast infection, triple paste or another strong diaper cream with lots of cornstarch. Cornstach has always been key for my girls. If it doesn't respond, then it's more likely a yeast infection and lotriman does the trick.

stop using wipes when lo has a rash. wash baby butt with soap and water, pat dry or let it air dry. slather aquaphor.

We got an anti fungal cream from DD's ped because nothing was helping. I think the wipes were adding to the problem. He said not to use anything with cornstarch because that was food for yeast and bacteria.

What finally worked was a combo of triple paste and caldesene powder (pink container). We also stopped using wipes and use a soft napkin and cetaphil cleanser with most changes.
