Kid furniture sets
we are considering getting DS a new bedroom set and having baby #2 use his current crib set.
Where did you get your twin/full kid bedroom set? and if you don't mind, how much did it cost you?
also how much was it additional for the mattress?
we would like bed, at least 1 dresser (mirror not necessary) and 1 nightstand

We just went to the Raymour & Flannigan Clearance center in Lake Grove (they have them on their website too) and saved a ton. We had a mattress already but we got a 4 piece full size set (headboard/footboard, dresser, mirror & nightstand) for around $850!

We got DDs bed at Bobs (I think it was under $300 including delivery)

Kid furniture sets
Just like baby furniture or adult furniture, it all depends on what you want to spend. I decided to go with another baby set for DD1 since she won't even be 2 when DD2 arrives. We already have a twin bed and we didn't buy another crib.
