Baby center says you shouldn't put an infant in a swimming pool until 6 months of age because they can't regulate their own temperature.
I was thinking about putting my 2/3 month old in my pool in my yard - the baby wouldn't be exposed to public germs and the pool is always very warm. Obviously, I wouldn't have the baby in direct sunlight either.. Do you think this is a no-no? How about a small kiddie pool?
When is too early to expose them to this?

If you keep it warm and fresh like bath water I would think it's fine.

I would think two things and i don't know the answer. 1. how old will the baby be? i'm guessing they are using an approximate based on weight and other situations like not all moms think to fix the temp and not put the pool in the hot sun 2. they go in a bath right so i can't imagine that fresh water that is warm would be any different outside

Input my DS in the pool at my parents comes at 4 months. Just don't keep them in long and I rinsed DS off right away.
He loves the water. We also had him in the water on the boat all last summer.
