Window Blinds/Shades
Where did you get your blinds from? I have an appointment with Budget Blinds to come and measure, but I'm open to other suggestions. Over the phone I asked for a rough estimate for my one kitchen window for cellular shades and he quoted me a little over $200!! That seems really high but I have no frame of reference. Is this what I should expect?
We're looking for reasonably priced but decent quality. We're on a budget, but are willing to shell out the money for something that will last us years.

I used Budget Blinds. I ordered about a month ago, I don't have my blinds yet. I originally thought I wanted cellular and ended up with wood blinds. I got my entire house done and felt it was reasonably priced. And just to let you know, they are negotiable.

Re: Window Blinds/Shades
We went to Home Depot. At first we were going to order custom blinds, but ended up temporarily buying the ones they have in stock and we love how they look in the house so we're keeping those!

Custom blinds are expensive. No matter where you go.
If you're not going to change your mind on them for a long time and can afford it - go for it.
We used Nicole at Blinds and Beyond in Seaford.

We ended up going to Loews and got faux wood for the whole house. They were having really good sales last week so we were able to get 9 windows done for less then1k and Loews installs them.

I got cellular ones from JC Penney (ordered them online). I had to get most in custom sizes because my windows are just weird sizes but the standard ones I already received, I love so I'm thinking I'll like the rest too.

We got the Levenor cellular shades from Lowes. They are not the custom order ones but they will cut the width for you there...we love them! They are about $50 a blind. We were debating whether to get the custom or the ones they cut for you there and we are so glad we went with the cheaper option bc they look great.

We went to Lowes as well, we got a mixture of wood and cellular, 9 window total, also for under 1k (including tax and installation)
