My mystery Follie
So I have a residual cyst/follicle from last cycle.. cd3 it measured 21MM and estrogen was almost 300 so they were concerned it was an actual egg forming. CD6 it shrunk to 17mm and estrogen was going down so they were thinking it was def a residual cyst and it was shrinking. Today is CD10 and the damn thing grew to 23mm! They are beyond confused. My RE has no idea what is going on but thinks it's empty and the estrogen fluctuation is messing with me forming any follies so this cycle is a bust. She was going to just prompt my period but decided to do another IUI just bc they don't know what is happening. So I should get my trigger shipped to me tomorrow and IUI on thursday. She warned me that this will most likely be a negative bc she does not believe an egg is forming but will do it anyway for me. She is praying the damn thing goes away so I can have a good cycle next month.. At least I'm another IUI away from getting to my IVF!!

Sorry you are dealing with this. How annoying. How many IUIs until IVF? My insurance requires 6. Hang in there.

My body def does not like clomid lol I think I need 6 IUI's to get to IVF, even with my extreme issues lol makes no sense!

Ugh I'm sorry you are in the same boat! Did yours shrink, then grow again? They really don't understand what is going on and it has me nervous :/

. They think one collapsed and the other was shrinking... Then it started to grow so they don't know if it was a cyst or if it contained a viable egg... I guess next sono they will know more.. Very frustrating!

ur doc can write a letter..they did for me
at that time my ins required 12 iui and after we did 8(tech 16 bc they were b2b) my doc wrote a letter saying we needed ivf and i was approved

there is a term for it,i wish i could remember..like have ur doc write a (blank) they said u ask for them to pay for ivf,they always refuse then yor doc writes this and they approve
i have ghi too and they did for us
