Vent-Refinancing

Ok, so we started in January (posted about this already). Went back and forth with paperwork being faxed, emails, calls, etc.

I have to keep finding out what is going on. 4 loan officers involved, down to 2 who actually call or email me. Last I heard they needed info on my dh's job. Got them that last Tuesday. Gave them until Friday to see how it was going. Was told on Friday they would check with the underwriters again.

OMG. Do I contact them AGAIN? Why is it taking so long?????

Yes - I would. It was the ONLY way I got answers. I was just thinking about you and whether you got everything squared away!!

For whatever it's worth - our closing went very smoothly, we were in and out in 40 minutes, maybe a little less.

Just refinanced with Chase. It went smoothly and to my surprise the bank stayed in touch. We had a lovely woman from their Delaware offices call and email us several times to let us know how things were going, and I was able to call her back with questions. They did keep asking for new things, like our newest investment statements, a copy of my driver's license and to have us sign several documents two weeks ago, such as what we intended to do with the cash we were taking out. It didn't take that long and we got a 3 and 3/4% rate for a 30 year mortgage.

I emailed them both yesterday AND left messages for both of them.
It is 3:20 the next day and NOTHING.
I think I will be emailing their manager tonight.
I wouldn't mind if there was a problem and they let me know but they totally blow me off constantly. How do you not listen to your voicemail and read your email? This is part of your job!!
