Sharp abdominal pain

So about an hour ago I started getting this really sharp pain in my upper abdomen on the left side of my belly button (about 3 inches away). It hurts more when I move and when I push on it. IDK if baby is sitting on something (I'm 26.5 weeks) or if it's gas or what it is. The pain is about a 7 when dull and when it gets really sharp it's about an 8.5-9. I'm seeing my sister tonight for Passover and I'm hoping she can ease my mind but at the same time, I don't know if I should call my OB instead. I hate calling when it's probably nothing but at the same time, how do I know it's nothing. Good G-d it hurts!!!!!

What should I do? Wait it out a little bit longer or call the Dr?

I would call, they will most likely send you to L&D to be monitored, so beware you might have to go to the hospital. But I would still call, my doctor's philosophy is "don't think, just call"

I had the same pain all day yesterday. It was definitely a gas pain but it just would not let up. Try taking a gas x or maalox and see if it helps. If it continues call your ob. Feel better.

i have had gas pains that have hurt so bad it was a 9 or 10. def try a gas-x but you can call your OB kust to ease your mind. feel better!

Sharp abdominal pain

Thanks girls! I spoke to my sister and she told me the same things you girls did. I took a gasx and it doesn't seem to be helping. The pain comes and goes more then staying at a constant. She told me to time them just in case but usually contractions are the whole stomach, not just one specific area. Figures the day DH goes back to work after 4 weeks furlough I have this pain!

Call ob.... Could be stretching or round lig pain.
