Ovidrel
Hi girls.. I have to take Ovidrel tomorrow... There was so much commotion to get to this point the nurses never gave me a tutorial. The instructions from the makers of it say inject in stomach... But other paperwork from my RE says upper thigh.. I will call dr tomorrow... But which is correct?? Thanks in advance!!

this is a subcutaneous injection so both work. here is a link from my RE for a video tutorial http://www.freedommedteach.com/player/Videos.aspx
personally for my IVF cycle I never injected into my stomach, just the upper thighs. had some mental block LOL
the more central and meaty the thigh area was the less it hurt

BTW.. How do you girls doing trigger shots and IvF treatments give yourself injections?? I am having a hard time with this...

mine always in stomach but i know others who have used leg or arm
as for doing it yourself,once u do it
once and the fear goes away it becomes second nature

My DH did it while I closed my eyes and listened to music. Did not deal so well with the whole thing... hehe
Can ur DH do it? Or family?

I put it in my upper thigh. Don't remember the exact details but it was not bad at all. I did it quickly and was fine. And it worked, conceived DS that cycle so I must have done it right GL!
