How many is too many?
I just came back from cd5 sono and blood-
I have 8 folicules 5 baby ones and the other 3 are 10.5,10.5 and 11.5
They will me later w blood results
I am on gone F what is considered too many? My reg sono tech was not in so I couldn't ask

How many is too many?
Too many follicles? I don't think there is such a case. I know I had a lot. Are you doing IUI or IVF? For IUI they want it more controlled. For IVF I don't think it matters because they control what they put back.

My doctor said if there were too many matured there is a possibility of cancelling a cycle,
I am going thru IUI
this is the 1st time w so many folicules and 1st time on Gonal

If all 8 follicles reach maturity (which is usually not the case, but can happen), your RE will probably cancel the cycle due to risk in extreme multiples. But if the 3 large ones reach maturity, I'm sure they will still go ahead with it.

I've never done an IUI but this sounds right. I don't think they will trigger you with 8 mature follicles. Way too risky. Good luck

My first Gonal cycle I had 3 dominant follicles and a few smaller ones too. My RE didn't mention cancelling. Not sure how many are too many though.

RE called going back tmrw am for blood and monitoring
anything more than 4 mature folicules they will cancel
