Disney resort dining
We're going in June and are still debating if we're doing Magic Kingdom or Sea World. But in addition to a park, I'm thinking of booking a cool experience dinner at one of the resorts. Our boys are 3 and 6 and we will also have friends and their 1 year old DD with us. What would be fun/interesting? I don't want any fast food type places. And buffets are not my favorite. We did Narcossees once for the view of the fireworks- which was great! But the food was not very good, especially for the price. I've never eaten at any other resorts, because we stay off site, so I would love some suggestions and descriptions. TIA!

Disney resort dining
I'd go on the Disney website and see what's available for the time you want and party size. You're going to be limited because June isn't that far away and dining reservations book 180 days out. We're also heading there in June and had some trouble finding the dining ressies we wanted because we just booked about a month ago.
How about one of the dining shows like Hoop de do Revue or Mickey's Backyard BBQ? I think when I was recently checking there was still availability.

Re: Disney resort dining
Saana at kadini at the AKL you can see some of the animals depending on the seating.
Jiko is good in Jambo house of AKL, but no animal viewing from the restaurant, you can walk around after.
Ohana at the poly, family style, they do coconut races, hula lessons etc.
Luau at the poly dinner show.
Hoop de doo review, comedy dance show and dinner (check youtube).
Mickeys back yard bbq.
Trex at downtown disney, there are many other places there to eat if trex isn't your speed.
A meal at the boardwalk hotel where you could walk around after
