They had one's in the back with a canopy. Full sized beds!  It was heaven!

I know 3 different people who got really sick in the Domincan Republic, I am not sure the names of the resorts they stayed at.
Someone I work with just got back from a resort and he said it was horrible. I will find out the name

I know 3 different people who got really sick in the Domincan Republic, I am not sure the names of the resorts they stayed at.
Someone I work with just got back from a resort and he said it was horrible. I will find out the name
Someone else I know came back with colitis! She has been going there every year for the past 6 years; and this is the first time it happened...scary!

I stayed at Majestic Elegance...it was really nice! You have to decide what's important to you. We LOVE the beach and calm water, which is what we had...Excellence is a gorgeous resort but the water is not really swimmable since it is further north...so its more the Atlantic ocean than the Caribbean Sea.

Totally agree with this. The beach waters were rough. But the HUGE pool that spanned the entire resort made up for it. I didn't realize it was the location of the resort to blame for the rough waters! Good to know!
