Jewish ladies....Passover?
What are you doing for Passover? Pasta, bagels, cereal are my easiest foods right now that don't upset my MS. We keep Passover, we'll be staying with my mom who keeps a kosher house but told me 100% I do NOT need to keep, I'll just make/eat my own food on paper plates etc. I haven't spoken to DH yet.
Anyone have thoughts?

Jewish ladies....Passover?
My mom always said if there is a medical condition that refrains me from following one of the holidays (Yom Kippur or Passover) that it was ok. I'll probably eat some matzah (although not too much, constipation is already a problme - sorry TMI), a potato, and a little brisket. Probably don't go crazy.
My parents don't keep Passover because my dad is Catholic so if I'm having a bad day then I'll probably have to have a piece of toast instead.
You can DEF have the soup though...that might be ok. I would say without the carrots and celery though and just do the broth and ball. When my MS was bad carrots and celery always came up! ALWAYS!

It depends on the person. And the timing. It's not bad and CAN be good.

only with butter or jelly or cheese or the like. otherwise, you might as well be eating cardboard.
To answer your question: The way i see it, if you keep kosher for even a part of the time but need bread to help your MS, you still get "full credit" for fasting Call it a Pregnancy Perk
I didn't fast on Yom Kippur last year (i was in the late 3rd trimester) - it felt weird to eat while others were hungry but i knew that i had to do it for myself and the baby.

Re: Jewish ladies....Passover?
I am at the end of my pregnancy and will keep kosher. Matzah is so plain, it's fine for nausea.
