When is your last day of work....
For those who work in the city but live on LI, when do you plan to work until? Im hoping 38 weeks.

I'm working until I have the baby. I rather use the days that I have for after the baby is born (I only get paid for the sick days that I have) with that being said, im that I my water doesn't break on the lirr or at work lol

The day I have the baby as long as all goes well. I'm actually hoping I go into labor at work because my hospital is in manhattan.

My plan was 40w, my dr stopped me on Tues at 34w. I am allowed to work from home but I have been cramping really badly and throwing up a lot and per the dr commuting is not helping since its stressful on the body.

Barring any issues, I'd like to work till the week of my due date. My EDD is 10/14 so if I can work till the Friday before and then have the weekend, I'll be happy.

I'm shooting for the Friday before my c/s which would be 38w2d but this is my 3rd and my last DS was 3 weeks early so we will see.

When is your last day of work....
I'm hoping to work up until the baby comes as any time I take now, will come off my maternity leave however, the commute is REALLY starting to wear on me. Plus with all the train delays doesn't make it any easier. When I see my dr next, I'm going to ask him how long he wants me to commute. I'm nervous about my water breaking while at work, or on the train!
I'm 36 weeks.

Last time i went from Work to the hospital LOL. I was leaking but wasnt sure so decided to work and go to the doc once they opened but ended up working most of the day then calling. They told me go straight to the hospital. I plan to do the same this time.

I plan on working until the Dr. sechedules me for my C-section. I don't have much time paid leave and plan on using it after the baby is here. I did the same with my last pregnancy I worked up till the Dr. sent me for an induction.

When is your last day of work....
Planning on working until I have the baby. I am 34w now and the commute is starting to get difficult, but I am planning on toughing it out until the end.
With DD I planned on working until 40w (and then I was so done), but I was induced a few days before that, so I didn't need to take any days.

When is your last day of work....
Last pregnancy I worked until I went into labor and while in labor at work I finished my shift. This time I am having a repeat csection and hopefully make it to the 39 week scheduled date.
I was working at 2 hospitals at that time and that day I was at Mt Sinai

When is your last day of work....
My plan is to work right up until I have the baby. I'm only 20 min from home and 30 min from the hospital and I sit down the majority of my day, so it shouldn't be too stressful.

I worked up until last time!
As much as I would love to take a week or so ahead of time and lay around the house, I dont want to waste any of my lousy 12 weeks waiting for a baby that may show up late, so I'll work up until again

WOW -- i would like to work until the end too. Have been afraid thinking of going into labor at work and needing to get home which takes over an hour. What would your plan be to get to LI from city if you go into labor at work?

The lovely LIRR! Scary but what other choice would we have? You wont be able to drive!
