I wonder if it's a phase. Miranda's not in daycare but we're going through very similar behavior. She is sooooo clingy. I can't put her down even if she's right next to me without her screaming hysterically. She cries in her high chair. This behavior is just so unlike her.
I hope it gets better

I'm sorry she's having a tough time.
Do you think you can ask her "old" teachers to pop in and visit her?
I feel so bad for her!!!

I'm sure it will get better.
Nate has been out of day care for over a week and had a hard time going back this morning. It always takes a few days for him not to be so clingy.

so I lasted until about a minute ago calling to check in...
they said she only cried for like 2 minutes after I left and then played with the boys  (I'm in trouble)
she just went down for a nap so hopefully that works out!
I just have the imprint of her looking at me with tears and crying when I was leaving...I hope she gets better, cuz I am thisclose to quitting my job...not like that's possible...

I'm sure she'll get better but there will always be some days that are harder than others to leave her. It comes with the territory of being a working mom.
I know how hard it is to get that image out of your head but just remember that she only cries for a couple of minutes afterward ... and will greet you with a big smile when you return!

Is there anyway you can drop her off in the morning in her old room? Then after she is comfortable they can bring her to her new room?

Thanks girlie...you brought a huge smile to my face...and thanks everyone else for giving so many hugs.
I never expected this to be sooooo hard, it's not like she has been off all summer........I guess I should be comforted by the fact that Nicholas and Mason as "fighting" for her attention
