What color shoes...
with a teal dress? It is more on the blue end of teal than the green, and has a couple of goldtone buckles on it. I was thinking black?

Gold could work, depending on the dress. You should be able to get away with black, too.

I think I might do brown over black if you don't have nude or gold. I like brown & teal together & brown & gold.
Honestly, I have a pair of strappy blue gray shoes that I would try with it, but that's just me. 
ETA- just realized I have a tealish dress ( more greenish though) and I wear tan wedge sandals with it. It's not a fancy dress though, I have worn it to baby showers.

I would def do nude... Im not a fan of black with that color plus its spring so I'd go with something lighter
