BTDT Poll - did you try having sex to bring on labor and if so, did it work?
Just curious...
And also, if it worked, how long after did you go into labor?

With my first, yes we tried, and I think it helped get things going.. We tried thanksgiving morning and I was due 5 days later. During the act, I started having contractions and they went on most of the day lasting about 7-8 hours before they stopped. Lost my mucos plug the next morning, started real labor 2 days after that and had my baby rhe day before my due date.
Didn't try with my second. Had my membranes stripped a week before due date and they moved things along.

Didn't help with DD1, but I have every intention of trying again with this one! And eating spicy foods and pineapple, and taking long walks! I will try anything but castor oil!

Me too. DD was yesterday we tried  the other day and nothing. But we tried only 1 time. Not sure if it will work with 1 time hahaha

I couldnt, I was the size of a tanker and couldnt even think about it! I walked and ate spicy mexican food- worked like a charm lol

I didn't want to bring on labor- I wanted her to stay in as long as possible because I was PETRIFIED!
So no I did not.
But even if I wanted to, sex was the LAST thing I would have wanted to do at that point.
No freakin way!!
